Saturday saw the official opening of Sydneys Mardi Gras Spectacular. The Opera House was flash mobbed by a gaggle of queens who then formed a conga line that congered down to Customs House. Speeches were given by various people of no consequence (politicians, Chairs of the Board etc etc) but the official ribbon cutting ceremony was performed by Emily Howard & Daffyd Thomas of Llanddewi Brefi fame.
Twas nice to see them in the flesh so to speak. They're here performing their sellout show across Australia.
